Over the previous term, the children took part in lots of activities all about transport during our continuous provision. The children loved our Careers Day, where we used our imagination during the role play carousel in the hall. We had a visit from Explorer Dome where we crawled into a giant inflatable dome and looked up at the planets and stars. Across the Early Years department, we played together and celebrated the Queens Jubilee with lots of red, white and blue activities. It was lovely to see so many of you at our Stay and Play; we hope you enjoyed it and we aim to do another one before we break up for summer.
This half term our topic is “Do cows drink milk?”. We will learn all about what animals live on a farm, the noises they make and will count all of Little Boo Peeps sheep with lots of sensory trays to explore. We hope to get out on the bus and visit a farm for a day and communicate what animals we can see. We will be practising our skills ready for sports day.
It has been such a pleasure to teach the children this past year, watch them grow and develop into their own characters. I hope you are all happy with the progress they have made during their time in Seahorses Class. Have a lovely summer!
